Rubber Ducky Floats in Los Angeles Harbor

Floating somewhere in the Port of Los Angeles – we gather you can’t miss it from the 61 foot height … – is the world famous rubber duck for the Tall Ships Festival L.A. It has visited ports around the world and is now “on view” until Sunday, August 24th – so go find it, Angeleos! We will be scouring the seas with our binoculars… if that is even necessary.

“The Rubber Duck knows no frontiers, it doesn’t discriminate people and doesn’t have a political connotation,” he said in a statement on the festival’s website. “The friendly, floating Rubber Duck has healing properties: it can relieve the world’s tensions as well as define them.”
